The Society for Social Research (SSR) was founded as a platform to provoke and promote creative thinking, particularly among young persons. The society aims to publicise and present for discussion, thought and thinkers, whose work is likely to arouse and deepen our appreciation and understanding of vexed and complicated issues. SSR is prepared and committed to facilitate activities of research in social sciences in all possible ways. Researchers of various disciplines can share their work with us and also collaborate with us in seeking positive outcome of their research. Our contribution will include hosting a discussion of their work with other researchers and with experts of their field, organising a talk or seminar on the issue, and publication of their manuscripts. Researchers are also welcome to collaborate with us in contributing to the ongoing discourses, both within and outside their own fields of expertise. Institutions can collaborate with us in seeking participants and panels in their own events, in organising meetings, seminars, publications, studies, lectures, workshops, film screenings, discussions, and talks, and in sharing documentation and archival work.
